We recently had Restoration Hardwood refinish and stain the white stained ashwood floor in our main foyer. Our kids had abused it over the years with all sorts of toys and vehicles. There were scratches and dents everywhere! I was actually not too fond of hardwood at the time as ours looked really bad from all the abuse. I never really understood what the big fuss over (real) hardwood flooring was about

Prior to refinishing our foyer, we put a dark walnut (commercial grade) luxury vinyl plank flooring in our kitchen and family room to withstand high traffic and the kids. It looks like real wood and we've received many compliments. Next to the scratched up white stained ashwood, it looked amazing. At one point, we even considered replacing the ashwood in the foyer with the same vinyl plank.

I am so glad that we decided to let Restoration Hardwood refinish and stain the floor instead of replacing. The floors you stained look incredible! Wow! It's been a couple of weeks and we still can't get over how good the floor looks and feels. Now the newly finished ashwood puts the vinyl plank to shame!! We couldn't believe the wood hiding under the old finish was still so beautiful. Our thanks to Kevin and Thomas for a job well done! They also did a wonderful job mixing the stain - it matches the dark walnut vinyl plank perfectly.

Murray and Restoration Harwood refinished our floors recently. The hardwood floors were oak and on the main level of our home. They had become discoloured with use/water. We chose to have them resanded and stained a darker colour. We were delighted with the painless process. We did have to clear all the furniture, including fridge and toilet but the results are beautiful. They arrived when they said they would and stayed for just the time it took to complete each stage. I live in an older home which is nearly sixty years old. The house itself has been well maintained but the hardwood floors were in pretty rough shape especially in the front bedroom which was thrashed. The boys from Restoration Hardwood came and did an excellent job and the floors now look fabulous!
